St Margarets Souvlakia
Serves 8 people. Ready in about 10 minutes ( plus 30 minutes marinating )
1 | tbsp | fresh oregano |
2 | cloves | garlic |
1 | tbsp | lemon juice |
2 | tbsp | dark soy sauce |
2 | lbs | pork fillets (1 kilo) |
- Make the marinade: crush the garlic, place in a small bowl with the oregano, lemon juice and soy mix.
- Cut the pork into thick slices and lay in shallow non metallic dish. Pour over marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Push the meat on to barbecue skewers and grill or place on barbecue. Turn frequently for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
